HAJIMARI LABO is a sole proprietorship that builds websites for shops, develops record-keeping and management iPhone apps, and offers AI lessons. You can consult or place a request online from anywhere in Japan.
HAJIMARI LABO draws on the experience of using AI seriously in real work, launching our own vacant-house revival project, “OKAERI PROJECT,” and handling everything from the website to outreach ourselves.
We are not a large production company with specialist engineers and designers. That is exactly why we can take on consultations at the stage where nothing is decided yet, and work flexibly with small budgets.

Indigo, sakura and gold: a palette only a Japanese confectionery shop would have, built without relying on templates
We avoided the usual “trendy” palettes such as cream × terracotta, and newly designed colors that suit a wagashi shop: indigo, sakura and gold. Cherry petals drift across the hero, expressing the refined elegance and seasonality of a Japanese confectionery shop.

This app began with the thought that the reason it gets harder to lose weight from your 40s may not be the body itself, but that “information is only made for young people.” It does not stop at recording: five coaches — including a drill instructor, a calorie strategist and a snack-bar mama — actually reply to your entries.

A study timer app for iPhone that turns study time into “distance traveled by a spaceship.” Keep up your records and stats while visiting 13 destinations from the Moon to a star system. Built entirely alone with AI, from planning to App Store submission.

Study records are hard to keep up when only the numbers grow. So “time accumulated = distance traveled by the spaceship,” with 13 destinations to visit in order, from the Moon to the Alpha Centauri star system. You can freely place, enlarge and rotate items inside the ship, and look back on your daily progress with a starry-sky calendar, stats and a travel diary.

Blogging for over 10 years. While running blogs about camping and lifestyle, I take charge of article supervision for web media such as My Best, and I also serve as an official ambassador for multiple companies including Makuake and Swany. I have even been through planning and selling collaboration products with Swany.
I taught myself AI through note and other sources, and now I teach people around me how to use AI and help them write Kindle books. Being told “you’re good at teaching” was what led me to start the AI lessons.
Combining the experience of building “keep sharing and connect it to work” myself with the speed of AI-assisted production, I support the “beginnings” of small shops and individuals.

*As a tax-exempt business, we do not charge consumption tax. The listed price is the total you pay. We cannot issue qualified invoices (invoice system).
We don’t just build a site and walk away. Connecting it to sales takes three steps.
We believe a website should be judged less by how pretty it is than by whether it leads to visits and reservations. That said, search rankings and sales are not something we can promise. Instead, we handle everything end to end, from “setting you up to be found” to “monthly numbers and the next step.”

*Reservation system integration is available on request. Online shops (e-commerce) and online payment features are generally not accepted. We will refer you to dedicated services such as BASE, STORES and Shopify (for simple needs, please consult us first).

*We specialize in “record-keeping and management” apps such as record-management and study-time apps (game apps are not covered). Our track record so far is limited to smartphone (iOS) apps. We assume development for Apple (iOS) in principle. Apple’s review can take time to respond, so please understand that the time from submission to release can vary. For Android release, and the costs and name used before release, see “About publishing your app” below. Payments and external API integration are quoted individually depending on the content, so please consult us first. For business web apps and tools, we have no track record yet, so we cannot give a price guide. If you are interested, please consult us first.
About publishing your app
Q.Can you build Android apps too?
We can discuss it, but we do not have a track record with Android yet, so we would be feeling our way together. Also, for a newly created individual developer account on Google Play, there is a requirement that “12 or more testers take part in testing for 14 consecutive days” before release. Securing testers requires your cooperation (organization accounts are not subject to this).
Q.In whose name will the app be published?
It is published under your own name (personal name or company name). Registering with the App Store or Google Play (opening a developer account) is done by you, not by us.
Q.Are there costs before publishing?
Apart from the production fee, each store charges a registration fee. All of these are borne by you.

*The above are fees for website production, app development, maintenance and working-alongside support. Server fees such as Xserver (we recommend Xserver), and domain registration and renewal fees, are contracted and paid by you (roughly several thousand yen per year as a guide). Claude (AI usage fees) is likewise contracted and paid by you; for light use, a free to about US$20/month plan is often enough, but if you do a lot of hands-on work in the Together course, you may need a higher plan (about US$100/month). Because contracts are made in your name rather than the maker’s, you can cancel or hand over at any time.
